These gravestone inscriptions were gathered at Castelmagner Parish, May of 2001 Part 3 will be available at a later posting.

The first column is the townland the cemetery was located in and the person listed (and or the inscription on the stone). The second column is a location actually listed on the stone in reference to that person’s name and or the name listed at that cemetery. (I have been told that location indicates where that person was residing at the time of their death.) Dates and ages are listed when available.

Please note some of the engravings were very difficult to read due to the age and conditions of the stone. Also note these inscriptions are in no way all of the stones at a cemetery, rather only the ones I transcribed. There is a margin of error on this list and one is encouraged to personally verify all and any entries for accuracy. If anyone has corrections to this list please contact webmaster.
